Introduction:
We yell at God when we are hurt, and We Say; "God they hurt me and that really hurts why did you let them do that to me?"
"Don't you love me?"
"What about Me about my Wants?"
"ME-ME-ME-ME-ME!!!"
When we really should pray for the person that hurt us.
First:
Go into a closet or a restroom that has a door, lock yourself in there Kneel and Pray
Matthew 6:6
"But thou, when thou Prayest enter into thy Closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
If you don't know what to say Pray the Lord's Prayer;
Matthew 6:9-13
"Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Your kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom,and the power, and the glory, for ever. AMEN."
Second:
Ask God to Bless them instead of being selfish.
God tells us in his Word;
Matthew 5:44
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."
Prayer is a Blessing from God. So bless those that hurt you. Also say; "I forgive you."
They Might be suprised.
Third:
1. When someone calls you on the phone with a request ask them if they want you to pray with them on the phone.
2.If someone stops you in Person and asks for you to pray for them ask if they want prayed with right then and there.
It is better to stop and do the Work of God then it is to be in a hurry for your own selfish wants. Another thing when we pray right away they will know that you had prayed instead of saying "I'll Pray for you". We are more likely to forget.
Matthew 18:20
"For where two or three are gathered together in my name,there am I in the midst of them."
The person you Pray with and for will feel Blessed and start to know the importance of God and Prayer
May the Lord Bless and keep you in his Arms.
